Chloe Challinor is a Senior Associate with Stephenson Harwood. She is an experienced commercial litigator who has particular expertise in the aviation sector. She regularly advises clients such as airlines, aircraft manufacturers, avionics companies and aviation insurers in cases both before the UK Courts and further afield.
Chloe has broad general commercial litigation and dispute resolution experience in commercial agreements, insurance, fraud, telecommunications, and company and partnership matters. By acting for some of the leading aviation companies, she has developed specialist experience in aviation litigation in both a domestic and an international context, and in aviation commercial and regulatory matters.
In addition to her practical aviation experience, Chloe has an academic interest in the development of international air law, particularly that relating to air accidents and aviation security. She holds an Advanced Masters in Air and Space Law (cum laude) from Leiden University, Netherlands. Her LLM thesis examined ICAO Annex 13 to the Chicago Convention and the admissibility of air accident reports in litigation.
