Jessica is an Associate at Eversheds LLP. She has been at the firm for 10 years. She deals with both the contentious and non-contentious shipping aspects of travel law as well as carriage of goods by sea, Bills of lading, charterparties, conflicts of laws, jurisdiction, enforcement, international contracts and sale of goods.
Jessica’s recent cruise ship experience involves advising on various forms of charterparty for the hire of cruise ships, advising on the applicability of the package travel regulations to passenger terms and conditions for international cruise operators, advising on marine insurance aspects of cruise operations and advising a cruise operator following the collision of a cruise ship on various matters including repatriation of passengers, compensation of passengers, insurance and indemnity claims.
Prior to specialising in the maritime field, Jessica also advised travel companies more generally on both the drafting of and claims under their standard terms and conditions.
