Christopher Deacon
Chris Deacon acts mostly for claimants in relation to accidents abroad and holiday disputes as well as travel and motor insurers on international recoveries and policy disputes. Chris joined the Travel team at Blake Lapthorn in January 2008 and qualified as a solicitor in 2011. He has a particular interest in consumer travel issues, claims under the Package Travel Regulations, international conventions and denied boarding cases.
Chris completed his degree in European Law at the University of Warwick. He is fluent in French and brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding European and French Law having spent a year studying at the Faculty of Law in Lille.
Chris is a member of the Travel and Tourism Lawyers Association, APIL and PEOPIL. He contributes regularly to the local press, radio and industry journals and is an ambassador for the Solent Education Business Partnership. (March 2013)
