European Court Rules on Opt-In Air Travel Insurance

A recent decision of the European Court of Justice confirms that a party which sells air travel, whether it be an air carrier or a travel agency, can only offer optional price supplements, such as flight cancellation insurance, on an ‘opt-in’ basis.
