Ontario Court of Appeal limits the award of premium fees to class counsel in travel class action
In its recent decision in Lavier v MyTravel Canada Holidays Inc, 2013 ONCA 92, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Canada, denied class counsel’s request for additional fees after the exhaustion of the claims process resulting from a settlement of a class action.
